1927 Atlin as it was did not have a covered porch, the deck was rotten and had to be replaced, not a job for the weak at heart.

With the wall missing you get a good idea of the number of buckets of rock that we jack hammered and carried out by hand. Went from an almost belly crawl to a 9 foot ceiling. At last count we were over 1000 buckets of rock and mud, then there was the challenge of bringing 5 tons of clean drain rock in bucket by bucket.
Worked late in to the night, Kokanee Power was mandatory to keep going
The new covered porch, pitched at the correct angle to allow water run off and sealed with Dura-Deck.
Now waiting to trim out the posts and install the railings
